Connie Milstein, Chairman, Co-Founder

 

Constance J. Milstein

Connie Milstein is a Principal and Co-Founder of Ogden CAP Properties, LLC, a New York City property management and development company. She is also a Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Her accomplishments as a senior business executive in the real estate, hotel and property development industry led to the Association of Real Estate Women and the Real Estate Weekly to include Connie Milstein in the top 50 women in real estate in the New York metro area. Additionally, Crain’s NY included Ms. Milstein among the top 100 women real estate executives.

Connie Milstein is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Humpty Dumpty Institute, and is committed to supporting our ultimate goal of strengthening ties between the United States government and the United Nations. An involved philanthropist, Connie Milstein is also an active board member of many non-profit organizations including Refugees International (RI), the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the New York City Opera, and the City Parks Foundation. Furthermore, Connie Milstein is one of the principle founders of Medical Missions for Children, the leading telemedicine center in the United States providing healthcare to children in over 40 developing nations through telemedicine centers.

Connie Milstein is also a member of the board of UN Watch, Member/Governor of the New York-Presbyterian Foundation, Inc., Board Member/Trustee of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Trustee of New York University, Trustee of the Democratic Leadership Council, and the Treasurer of the Democratic Governors Association under the Chairmanship of Montana Governor, Brian Schweitzer.

Before becoming an accomplished real estate executive, Connie Milstein graduated from New York University and went on to earn her J.D. cum laude from North Carolina Central University Law School. She began her legal career at the DC law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Kampelman, and later worked in the General Counsel’s office of the federal Department of Transportation

OUR MISSION

The Humpty Dumpty Institute forges innovative public-private partnerships to find creative solutions to difficult humanitarian problems through a series of unique programs. Currently, HDI's mandate is to foster dialogue between the United Nations and the U.S. Congress, to support mine-action programs around the world, and to alleviate both domestic and international hunger.
