We are also pleased to announce that HDI is currently working with the JFK School of Government at Harvard University to bring the Freshmen class of House Representatives to the United Nations for a series of private briefings with senior U.N. officials later this spring.  This will be followed by a Congressional Staff delegation to U.N. And finally, we wish to thank Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke for his service as a member of HDI’s Board of Directors for six years from November 2003 until December 2009.  We all wish him well and much success in his new position as Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
