HDI Announces New Congressional Advisory Board Members

New York, NY:  The Humpty Dumpty Institute is pleased to announce that six Members of Congress have recently joined its Congressional Advisory Board. With these additional members, our Congressional Advisory Board now consists of 24 Members of Congress. We are pleased to announce the following representatives:
     

Representative André Carson (Indiana)—7th District

 
 

Representative Raul Grijalva (Arizona)—7th District

Representative Jim Himes (Connecticut)—4th District

 
 

Representative Albio Sires (New Jersey)—13th District

Representative Maxine Waters (California)—35th District

 
 

Representative Diane Watson (California)—33rd District

We are also pleased to announce that HDI is currently working with the JFK School of Government at Harvard University to bring the Freshmen class of House Representatives to the United Nations for a series of private briefings with senior U.N. officials later this spring.  This will be followed by a Congressional Staff delegation to U.N. Headquarters consisting of key Staff members dealing with foreign affairs and international issues.

And finally, we wish to thank Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke for his service as a member of HDI’s Board of Directors for six years from November 2003 until December 2009.  We all wish him well and much success in his new position as Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
